Property building in Americas Best Value Inn San Jose
This is one of the rare times I can comment positively on a "value motel". So many in this price range nowadays are rundown, uncared for, dirty and neglected. This one was not. While similarly blase on the outside, the room was accommodating, neat, clean and comfortable. There were no obvious signs of neglect and/or poor maintenance like so many have. Automatic lighting in the bathroom was nice if you get up in the middle of the night - the light goes on when you near the door. Coffee setup was well stocked. Everything you would expect was there -- refrigerator, hair dryer, microwave, coffee. The setting is convenient -- gas station and convenience store right across the street, Denny's restaurant (where I walked to breakfast) on the corner. The parking lot is well-lighted and clean. Even though it's in a somewhat "urban" area there were no signs of blight or suspicious individuals. Very convenient to San Jose Airport which is where I was heading in the morning.

Akash is a fine host! I complained about flush and he came up with the air pump and a key to next room at once and told me that he would change the room if the issue is not resolved in 5 minutes! Now, that's like being super proactive and helpful. Thank you Akash for quick response, people like you who take ownership and responsibility make a property awesome. At first it may look like a regular motel, but inside of the rooms are nice and have old American charm. Rooms are spacious and clean, bed was comfortable and room has all basic facilities. Enough parking was available and it felt safe as it is within the property through an entrance. This was one of the reason i choose this property as i was driving an expensive rental. Many good restaurants are walkable from the property.

I'd give them a 10 on 5 if that were possible. I arrived earlier than my check-in time, but Akash went above and beyond to give me a spare room until my room was ready. Rooms were absolutely clean and there's everyday housekeeping service to maintain it that way. Great location and service. Being a compact space with limited number of rooms, they do not offer breakfast, but have several options right adjacent. You'd be surprised with the parking space, which also felt very safe. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a budget option.

Been there a lot in the last past two years and this is the best property I’ve been in ever in San Jose, California respectable clean, honest, friendly reasonable staff is wonderful managers are extremely respectful. I can go on and on me just to let you know that they should get how many other stars they are and that’s a lot thank you. Blessings.

Everything very respectful very carefree very clean property is excellent. The management is awesome and the maintenance and also the caretakers of the property which are called housekeepers. There’s a lot more I have to say but just remember everything is positive about this property and management, housekeepers, clean, etc. blessed the people all the love at this property.
